Chandelier installation requirements vary and are based on the desired illumination effect, fixture size and density, tables and settings; unique to each individual client, location and structural integrity of installation-site must also be considered.
As a rule, when installing a dining room chandelier located over an existing table, it is recommended that the chandelier be installed within 29 to 41 inches from the table top depending upon the configuration of the fixture.
When selecting a chandelier, the maximum amount of illumination should be considered. A proper chandelier installation would include a dimmer-control thereby affording the client the ability to lower the unwanted lighting demand as they deem suitable and never having insufficient lighting, thus enhancing the dining experience.
